Emotional Mediation of Creative Images in Childhood: Research and Practice

Abstract

We present the talk made at the IV All-Russian scientific-practical conference on developmental psychology “At the origins of development”. We discuss the parameters of family upbringing style, which had a significant influence on the development of intellectual and creative potential of children of primary school age. Correlation analysis revealed expected connection between the parameters, as well as contradictory statistically significant association between measures of nonverbal creativity and the scale of Parenting Style Questionnaire – “the imposition of a conflict between the spouses in the sphere of children upbringing” for a sample of children with high intellectual and creative potential.
