Abstract

The focus of the article is a knowledge-based technique entitled “Methods of role playing training in educating students”, developed and applied in the Psychological Institute of the Albert-Ludwig University (Freiburg, Germany). In particular, the lecture reveals its implementation in the educational play back theater, where specially trained actors who have some basic medical or psychological education enact "simulative" clients to form professional skills of students, such as initial interview, motivational interviewing, and individual counseling techniques. The paper shows the opportunities that technique provides for studying, and approaches the way in which it allows students to "get acquainted" with sophisticated clients. Also, the substantive, structural and organizational aspects of the method are regarded.
