Abstract

The article deals with the issue of mastering innovative multimedia technologies by psychologists as the means of psychological diagnostics and correction. The software is installed in most of computer classes in Moscow as well as regional schools and is used in classes on different subjects but still remains unknown and unclaimed among psychologists. In the range of specialized courses for M.A. students of Educational psychology faculty of the Moscow State University of Psychology and Education “Logo multimedia environment” was taught to equip psychologists with fundamentally new tools for practical and therapeutic work and to develop skills in application of those tools in professional activity. The article analyses advantages and disadvantages of the software, ways of its implementation and possible modernization; provides reports and reflective analysis made by the course students that may be regarded as expert evaluation of opportunities to use the software in applied psychology.
