Evidence-based Social Service Design: Competencies Model of a Non-profit Organization Specialist
Abstract
The article describes the results of studying the needs of specialists of non-profit organizations dealing with the topic of family and childhood in the development of professional competencies in the field of social service design. The study has confirmed the relevance of professional and advanced training among social service professionals. The study made it possible to identify the main priority areas in project skills training in the non-profit sector and develop on their basis a model of professional competencies of a social service professional, including 9 clusters in three main areas: “Project Community”, “Project Cycle” and “Project Infrastructure”. The competence model presented in the work formed the basis of a 72-hour advanced training course, and is also implemented within the framework of the master's program "Evidence-based design and evaluation of projects in the field of social risk management in social service" of the Moscow State University of Psychology and Education.
