Abstract

This article explores the implementation of inclusive education in digital platforms, focusing on opportunities, challenges, and improvement strategies. The author establishes the relevance and significance of the research topic. It is posited that in the context of global digitalization and growing recognition of the right to education for all, including those with special educational needs, there is a necessity to adapt educational practices to digital environments. The article argues that this adaptation must be based on a comprehensive approach that involves technological solutions, pedagogical innovations, and cultural shifts. A hypothesis is presented and supported that digital environments offer unique potential for inclusive education through adaptive technologies, personalized learning, and expanded access to resources. The technological aspect is examined through the lens of assistive technologies and adaptive learning systems, with practical examples provided. Additionally, the article outlines the basic framework for implementing inclusive education in digital spaces. The study also addresses the challenges and barriers to digital inclusive education, categorizing them into technical, psychological-pedagogical, and social aspects. It proposes strategies for overcoming these obstacles, emphasizing the development of teachers' digital competencies, the creation of adaptive educational content, and the fostering of an inclusive digital culture. The article concludes that with thoughtful and adaptive implementation of the proposed strategies, it is possible to achieve significant improvements in the quality and accessibility of education for all learners, particularly those with special educational needs. It underscores the importance of a systemic approach involving all stakeholders in the educational process to create a truly inclusive digital learning environment.
