Model of Advanced Training for Teachers on Organizing Interaction with Parents of Students with Disabilities on the Digital Socialization of Children

Abstract

The article describes a model of professional development for teachers on the organization of interaction with parents of students with disabilities on the issues of digital socialization of children. Its structure is based on the model of digital socialization of a child with disabilities identified using the factor analysis method (Varimax rotation), the results of a study of the specifics of its factors, the perceptions of teachers and parents of students with disabilities about the nature of their interaction with each other, and the strategies used by parents to mediate their children's activities in the media space. The author presents the purpose, the list of main sections of the training program curriculum, and the list of expected outcomes for students. The article also discusses the scope of the program and the forms of assessment. The organizational aspects of training implementation are described. This advanced training model can be used by relevant institutions that improve the professional competencies of teaching staff to organize work with students, as well as specialists in special and inclusive education, in order to promote self-education and build effective communication with children with disabilities and their parents on digital socialization.
