Abstract

Traditionally, higher education institutions act as cultural centers of the society, as a source and translator of new ideas and values that affect the system of relations in society. The article deals with a number of conceptual positions that shift the emphasis from the concept of «inclusive culture» to the concept of «culture of inclusion. The understanding of inclusive culture that has developed in science is viewed first of all from the standpoint of an ideal result, in the form of a safe and tolerant community that generates common values and the ideology of equality. Moreover, inclusion is, first of all, a complex multicomponent and polysubject process, which requires special approaches, attitudes, means and forms. The author’s position is proposed to justify the need to cultivate the attitudes, principles, traditions, ethics and aesthetics of the process of inclusion itself. It is emphasized that the experience in the development and implementation of monitoring of educational institutions of higher education determined the isolation of the culture of inclusion as a strategic line of activity of resource training and methodological centers in the direction of building a society of equal opportunities.
