Аннотация

Психологи - исследователи, теоретики и авторы популярных книг - уже давно ведут поиск моделей и теорий, которые могли бы охватить веру людей всех времен в нечто, выходящее за пределы человеческого существа, в нечто высшее (в создателя, высшую силу, Бога). В статье обсуждаются понятия «религия», «духовность» и «Я» и рассматривается, насколько этим подходам удается включить в себя многообразие духовных и религиозных убеждений людей всего мира. Вводится и обсуждается понятие самотолкования, которое само по себе включает все религиозные и духовные убеждения, принадлежащие существующим традициям и живущим на земле людям.
