Специфика социального познания в пожилом и старческом возрасте

В статье представлены результаты исследований центрального компонента социального познания — модели психического в пожилом и старческом возрасте. Показано, что в пожилом (55–74 года) и старческом (75–90 лет) возрасте при нормальном старении происходят качественные изменения в аффективном (понимание, дифференциация эмоций) и когнитивном (понимание иронии и обмана) компонентах модели психического. Описано, что в позднем возрасте могут наблюдаться разные формы дефицита психического. К позднему возрасту снижается способность распознавать эмоции по лицам людей. Труднее распознаются негативные эмоции (печаль, страх, злость), нежели нейтральные и положительные (радость). Показано, что в пожилом и старческом возрасте наблюдаются особенности в прагматической интерпретации событий, понимании обмана и иронии.

Усиление интереса к модели психи­ческого при старении связано с тем, что геронтологи, основываясь на данных о росте сердечно-сосудистых, нейродеге­неративных заболеваний, а также рас­стройств депрессивно-тревожного спек­тра, уделяют внимание эмоциональному благополучию (emotional well-being) и удовлетворенности старости (aging satisfaction) в поздних возрастах (с 55 до 90 лет).
