Ненависть как предмет психологического исследования

Развитие научной психологии неизбежно ведет к тому, что все новые сферы важнейших человеческих отношений и чувств становятся объектом научного познания. До недавнего времени тематика негативных отношений и установок в психологии ограничивалась исследованиями гнева, враждебности и агрессии, а также исследованием предрассудков и социальной дискриминации. По-видимому, пришло время «открыть» тематику такого важного чувства в жизни людей, как ненависть, последствия которой могут представлять значительную опасность для человеческого сообщества. И начальные шаги в этом направлении уже сделаны. В 2001 г. стал издаваться первый междисциплинарный журнал по ненависти Journal of Hate Studies в университете Гонзага (США). В 2005 г. вышел первый сборник статей по психологии ненависти [63] . А в 2008 г. в Тарту на 14-й Европейской конференции по психологии личности состоялся первый симпозиум по психологии любви и ненависти. На нем обсуждались уже не только теоретические представления о природе ненависти, построенные на эмпирической базе смежных областей психологии и социологии, но и первые эмпирические исследования ненависти ([17], [19], [52], [66] ), в частности, была представлена разработка шкалы ненависти, оригинальная версия которой была создана именно на русском языке в Латвии и России [17].

Удивительно, однако, что психология, провозгласившая свой приоритет в изучении душевных явлений, так долго «уклонялась» от изучения явления, столь важного для жизни каждого человека и всего общества. Это тем более странно, что термин «преступления на почве ненависти» или просто «преступления ненависти» [3] существует в обиходе целого ряда социальных областей и дисциплин уже давно и обозначает совершение насилия по отношению к людям лишь на основании их принадлежности к ненавидимой группе [40]. При этом нельзя сказать, что ненависть игнорировалась в такой около-научной области клинической психологии, как психоанализ [15], [35], [36], [48], [72]. Однако общие установки психоанализа по отказу от эмпирических исследований остались неизменными со времен З. Фрейда, и некоторые тонкие наблюдения его представителей «тонут» в массе весьма произвольных теоретических построений, что, впрочем, происходит не только с представителями психоанализа.
