Intersubject Integration — as a Tool for the Development of Linguistic and Communicative Competence of Students

Abstract

This article is devoted to the integration of English and psychology. In the scientific community, the topic of intersubject integration is widely represented in the theoretical aspect and insufficiently in practical. The relevance of this article is due to the need to create a methodological development of integrated lessons “English language and Psychology”. The purpose of this article is to describe work experience in developing communicative competence among students in the Federal State Educational Standard, as well as to increase motivation to learn a foreign language, to give personal meaning to the activity. The article describes the experience of working with a subgroup of sixth grade students in the amount of twelve people, the age of children is 12–13 years. The article describes the result of this work: increasing educational motivation to learn English, increasing cognitive activity, overcoming the language barrier, adequate perception of information and the ability to correctly and intelligibly explain thoughts.
