New quality of investigations in the sphere of alcohol-abuse prevention

Abstract

The review over the year 2011 presents the key perspectives in prеvention of alcohol addictive behavior and risks of alcohol abuse in the educational environment. Today it seems proved that decrease in quality of higher education is connected with gradually extending support of asocial style of life by students and educators: in-take of alcohol and other drugs, random sex, gambling. In this situation the professional community of universities over the world has to acquire the new effective model of international cooperation at all levels of education in the sphere of prevention of addictive behavior. Prevention model is naturally built in fundamental and practice oriented university scientific studies of psycho-pedagogical orientation, which makes it possible for each higher education settlements to elaborate mechanisms of self-development. The following parameters are mainly becoming the matter of scientific studies: behavior planning, motivation, «norms» of life and others. International cooperation of universities allows to raise the level of multicultural prevention of addictive behavior as the most effective measure in the process of higher education systems globalization.
