Abstract

The research investigates the link between the artistic vision and the conditions of development of art activity and speech development in preschoolers. The sample included 50 children aged from 5,4 to 6,1 years old (mean age – 5,9 years old). The research methods were aimed at investigation of peculiarities of art activity and the conditions of its development. We hypothezed that children with different levels of artistic vision have qualitative differences in speech accompaniment and development of the main components of art activity (perception and image thinking, imagination, generalization). According to the results analysis, four levels of artistic vision development were outlined, that enriched the currently used threefold classification. Such conditions of art activity development as image thinking and perception, imagination, generalization, normative function of speech differ significantly in children with different levels of artistic vision. Additionally, differences in speech activeness and statements addressing in children with different levels of artistic vision were revealed.
