A Model for Decision-Making by a Humanities Teacher When Integrating AI into the Educational Process

7

Abstract

The article presents a comprehensive theoretical model describing the factors of decision-making by teachers of humanities regarding the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) tools into the educational process. The model integrates the technological dimension, including the type of AI tool, its functionality and interface, with the socio-psychological dimension, covering normative pressure, professional identity and attribution of responsibility. The concept of "hybrid agency" is introduced and substantiated as the distribution of tasks and responsibility between the teacher and the algorithmic system aimed at minimizing cognitive dissonance and resistance to innovation. Based on the proposed model, practical recommendations are formulated for the development of EdTech solutions, methodologists and heads of educational programs regarding the design of interfaces, organizational scenarios for implementation and the formation of trust in technologies. The article is of a theoretical and methodological nature and sets a vector for further empirical research in the field of digital transformation of humanities education.
