Abstract

The article presents materials of the empirical study on intergroup prejudice and its personality-related and situational features. The following outcomes of the study are described: the relation between prejudice and aggressive behaviour is conditioned by gender-role identity and temperament characteristics; 'partial' prejudice can be found in persons with 'basic non-hostility' of the worldview; other people's evaluations can affect the development of inadequate gender identity and provoke aggressive behaviour in persons with hypermasculine gender identity.
