Practices for Assessing the Well-being of Disabled Children and Young People with Disabilities: The Experience of the Day Employment Center “House under the Sun”
Abstract
The article summarizes the main practices of assessing the level of well-being of the wards of the Center for Day Employment — children with disabilities and young people with disabilities “House under the Sun”, created at the Charitable Foundation “Lifestyle” (Moscow) in 2021. The work of the Center is carried out on the basis of a modular approach, includes the interaction of various blocks aimed at creating conditions for productive social-cultural adaptation of children with various developmental disorders. The center serves 46 wards of different ages from 6 to 34 years old, including children living in families and receiving education in various educational organizations. The center works according to the author’s programs of additional education. An important component of the activity is the constant monitoring of the pedagogical and social effects of the implementation of programs.
